Also, visit the Central Market, the bohemian Barrio Bellavista district, the top of San Cristóbal Hill, the modern residential areas of the city, and a shop for lapis lazuli.
Markets! Markets! Markets! We visit La Vega, the Central Market, the historic city center, bohemian Barrio Bellavista district, and San Cristóbal Hill, before our stopping at Los Dominicos. This village is home to more than 150 artisans, representing the best and most complete showing of Chilean handicrafts.
Before departing from Santiago, visit the historical city center to see the Presidential Palace and other significant sights. Continue to Viña del Mar, passing through the beach resort of Reñaca. In Viña del Mar see the flower clock and other points of interest. Then, visit Valparaiso, with its picturesque hills, before being dropped off at your cruise ship pier or other location.
From the Valparaiso pier or hotel, we visit the major sights in Valparaiso and Viña del Mar; continue through the picturesque countryside, stopping at a winery in Casablanca Valley for a wine tasting, before arriving in Santiago. See the historic city center and then be dropped off at your hotel or airport.
