Chile has been named the best adventure travel destination in South America at the World Travel Awards from the last 3 years.
Why? Unique nature, climate diversity, and geographic contrasts are the principal characteristics that make Chile an incomparable destination. The great geographic barriers that surround Chile, such as the Atacama Desert, the Pacific Ocean, the Andes Mountains, and Patagonia and the Antarctic Territory give a distinctive character that allows you to take part in adventure activities in places in which man has barely set foot.

Discover Santiago, the multi-faceted capital of Chile, with its fine parks and numerous sporting and cultural activities. Explore Cajón del Maipo — an oasis just outside of Santiago — and connect with nature, a sense of tranquility and fresh mountain air when
you hike at “El Morado” Natural Monument in the heart of the Andes Mountain Range.
The Lake District, which stretches 339km from Temuco in the north to Puerto Montt in the south, is a region of lush farmland, dense forest, snowcapped volcanoes and deep, clear lakes, hidden for the most part in the mountains. The real action lies in the region’s many national parks and around the adventure sports capitals of Pucón and Puerto Varas, where the options abound for Hiking, Volcano-climbing, Rafting, Kayaking, Canyoning, Horse riding and Soaking in the many Thermal Springs. In the winter, Skiing down volcanoes draws an adventurous crowd.
Finally, Easter Island (Rapa Nui: Rapa Nui, Spanish: Isla de Pascua) is a Polynesian island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at the southeasternmost point of the Polynesian Triangle. Easter Island is famous for its 887 extant monumental statues, called “Moai”, created by the early Rapa Nui people. In 1995, UNESCO named Easter Island a World Heritage Site, with much of the island protected within Rapa Nui National Park.

Welcome to the Adventure country in Sudamerica…Chile!

For those who are looking for amazing landscapes, cultural diversity, delicious food, excellent wine, and a great human experience with warm-hearted people, Chile is a must-see destination. Our country has a unique mixture of landscapes and different kinds of weather which delivers an incredible display of natural wonders, such as the Atacama desert, Lake District, Patagonia and Easter Island “Rapa Nui”.

On December 14, 2020, a total solar eclipse will cut across Chile’s Lake District at Northern Patagonia, where anyone within the 56-mile-wide path of totality can witness the moon pass fully between the sun and Earth.

The phenomenon occurs when the new moon comes between the sun and Earth and casts its umbra – the darkest part of its shadow – on Earth. A total solar eclipse is almost as dark as night. While the majority of this year’s total solar eclipse will take place over the Pacific Ocean, it will pass over South America – Chile and Argentina – in the late afternoon, meaning Chile’s Lake District is one of the best – and only – places in the world for viewing. Come and enjoy the unique natural event…Once in a Lifetime!
