Depart 09:00 a.m., from your Puerto Montt / Puerto Varas hotel or pier. This excursion takes us by private transportation through the streets, markets, and lifestyles so typical of this area. We visit Padre Hurtado, President Ibáñez, and Angelmó markets. These markets carry a great variety of farm products and seafood from the islands. Angelmó is the most well known market in the city and the most complete market in Southern Chile.
You can see and experience the local reality of the people. Take time to have coffee and conversation with them, if you like.

In between markets, we visit the center of the city, its square and cathedral.

Finally, time for lunch! Here we have the opportunity to eat a delicious meal called Curanto with a Té Frío (white wine) in the Cocinerias (small local restaurant). (Lunch at your own expense.)

We start the return with spectacular views of the inland sea of Puerto Montt and Tenglo Island, with a stop for buying souvenirs. Optionally, after our tour, take a boat to visit Island Tenglo, or stay in the market to browse or visit leisurely before returning to your hotel or pier.

Note: It is essential that you wear layered clothing in order to fully enjoy and participate in this excursion: windbreaker, sunglasses, hat, and sun protector.
