Depart from your Santiago hotel or airport and drive to the historical center of the city to see the Presidential Palace La Moneda and Constitution Square. Also see the impressive Plaza de Armas (Main Square) and the Metropolitan Cathedral.

After that, we drive to Viña del Mar, passing through the summer beach resort of Reñaca (where we take a photo stop). We continue with a panoramic journey through Viña del Mar, also known as the Garden City, where we see the famous flower clock, the Libertad Avenue, Las Salinas beach area and several Palaces located on the hills, such as the Brunet Castle (now used by the Chilean Police Force) and the Palacio Presidencial, the Chilean President’s summer residence, perched on top of Castillo Hill with its magnificent hillside gardens.

In Valparaiso, we drive through the hilly oldest district of Valparaiso, known as the ‘Pearl of the Pacific’. Along the way, you see the downtown area, Sotomayor Square, Promenade 21 de Mayo, the Custom House and the Stock Exchange. If we have time, you can also take a funicular up the hillside to have a look at the picturesque hills and the port below. The full day tour ends with the drop off at the ship or Valparaiso/Viña delMar hotel.
