But the mysteries of the cosmos are not exclusive to astronomers and physicists, since different organizations have started to open its doors to the public with the purpose of allowing them to discover more about our universe.

Visit Geysers del Tatio with breakfast; take a swim in the thermal waters of Pozon Rustico; stop at the village of Machuca, an ancient settlement of llama herders. After lunch, visit archaeological sites, including Pukara de Quitor and the village of Tulor.

Visit Valled de la Luna (Valley of the Moon(, in the middle of the arid salt mountain range, a landscape of salt and clay shaped by water and wind over millions of years.
